I was looking through Kijiji and found Anita’s ad for “Overwhelmed By Clutter”. With gental persuasion and encouragement, no-nonsense attitude, and a great sense of humour, it became easy to let go of lots of things. We started to sort through the boxes and containers and in no time there was less clutter. Things were taken out of my home straight into her van (she would deliver daily to different organizations of my choice). It was nice to see my home starting to look clean and de-cluttered. Anita was always smiling and with compassion and understanding on what it might mean to get rid of those sentimental items or things you need to hang onto “just in case”…

After a continuous professional career of thirty years and the after-effects of a flooded basement and restoration, I decided it was time to de-clutter my home.

I had the opportunity to meet Anita through my neighbour, who had engaged her services and felt she would be the ideal person to help me. We (my neighbour and I) went to a workshop that was held at the Central Lions Recreation Center. After hearing all the great tips and solutions that she had to offer and her professionalism, I booked a consultation and started to work within days. What a relief after eleven sessions, we had effectively de-cluttered three-quarters of my home, and provided a storage area in a home that had very little. Thanks to this highly motivating, energetic and caring lady.

Hiring Anita from The Clutter Helper was one of the best things we did in helping my father transition with the absence of my mother. It made his life easier and took away a lot of the stress in having to try and go through all the things that have accumualted over the years. The house is clean but most importantly it’s clutter free (things stuffed in closets and drawers) that seemed like monumental tasks to clean out.

Anita was extremely professional, fast, hard working and very considerate and delicate in handling some of the cherished possesions and keepsakes that are dear to the family. She was kind and listened and took instructions very well and was also great in adding her advice on how to best handle things. This comes with years of experience in dealing with seniors.
She not only cleaned out the house but took care of the items that we wanted donated and found special places for all of those things.
